Energy that comes completely from sustainable sources can be declared as 100% renewable energy. Unlike other energy sources such as coal, renewable energy sources won’t run out. What is the difference between green gas and offset gas?

Green gas is produced through anaerobic digestion, therefore it is renewable and sustainable energy that works the same as regular “non-green gas”. The process of making green gas is organic. The carbon that will be set free is equal to the carbon that will be absorbed, so it can be declared as nearly carbon neutral.

Offset gas can be understood as the process of reducing carbon emissions made in order to compensate for emissions made elsewhere. Offsets will be scaled in tonnes of carbon dioxide-equivalent. Companies such as E.ON Next offset every tonne of carbon from their gas usage by supporting carbon neutral initiatives and funding of clean energy projects.

E.ON Next provides 100% renewable electricity for all customers without an extra charge for almost two years. Additionally they offer carbon offset gas and tree planting. With the greener tariffs, E.ON Next offers a wide range of green and sustainable solutions to customers. Poor and slow service

“Poor and slow service. Moving home has taken 5 weeks for me to get past the security questions. Rather than them asking for all the information in one go they keep coming back on separate occasions to ask for further information, each time another 5 days go past. Wouldn’t recommend at all.”
